How the Sticks Heat

Older IQOS models used a blade inside the holder that needed cleaning. TEREA works differently. Each stick carries its own metal element sealed inside the tobacco plug, and the ILUMA device heats that element through induction. Nothing enters the stick and nothing is left behind.

So there is no cleaning between sticks, and no blade to snap. That was the repair that ended most older IQOS units.

Step by Step

1. Charge the ILUMA device before your first session of the day.
2. Hold the stick by the white filter end.
3. Push the tobacco end straight down into the holder. No twisting.
4. Press the button once. The light pulses while it heats.
5. Wait for the steady light and two short buzzes.
6. Draw slowly. Hard, quick pulls thin the vapour.
7. Two more buzzes mean two puffs left.
8. Push the used stick out from the base and bin it.

Sticks are single use. Reheating one gives a burnt, bitter draw.
