How the Sticks Heat

Older IQOS models used a blade inside the holder that had to be cleaned. TEREA works differently. Each stick carries its own metal element sealed in the tobacco plug, and the ILUMA device heats that element through induction. Nothing goes into the stick and nothing is left behind.
