What’s New in the Latest RELX Infinity
RELX released the Infinity 2 in September 2023 as the successor to the original RELX Infinity. It is the newest Infinity model in our range. Four changes matter in daily use:
- You choose the power. The original Infinity runs at one setting. The Infinity 2 gives you three.
- It charges faster. Around 15 minutes takes the battery to about 80%, so a coffee break is enough.
- It shows you more. Four white LED bars show battery level, and the mode light shows your power setting.
- It paces you. SmartPace gives a short vibration after 15 puffs in 15 minutes, so you notice how often you reach for it.
The body is aluminium alloy, about 112 x 23 x 10 mm and roughly 36 g. It is draw-activated, so there is no fire button to press. You simply inhale.
RELX Modes: Eco, Smooth and Boost Explained
The three RELX modes change how much power reaches the coil. More power means a fuller, warmer draw; less power stretches each pod further.
| Mode | Output | LED colour | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eco | 5.5W | Green | Long workdays and stretching each pod |
| Smooth | 6.5W | Blue | The classic RELX feel, balanced flavour |
| Boost | 8W | Purple | Fuller flavour and denser vapour |
How to change modes on the RELX Infinity 2
- Insert a RELX Pod Pro 2 pod. Power switching works only with Pod Pro 2.
- Press the button on the side of the device. Each press moves to the next mode.
- Check the light and the buzz: green and one buzz for Eco, blue and two for Smooth, purple and three for Boost.
- Stop on the mode you want. The device remembers it.
So yes, the RELX Infinity 2 has a button, but it only changes the power mode. You never press it to vape.
RELX Infinity 2 Battery and Charging Time
The 440mAh battery charges over USB-C. Expect about 80% in 15 minutes and a full charge in about 27 minutes, depending on your charger and cable. The four white bars count down in quarters. When the light flashes red, the battery is empty and needs a charge.
Dubai tip: don’t leave the device in a parked car or charge it in direct sun. Heat is the fastest way to shorten any battery’s life.
RELX Infinity Pods: What Fits and the Pod Price
The Infinity 2 is built around RELX Pod Pro 2, and that is the pod we recommend. Original RELX Pod Pro pods also fit and work, but the device then stays fixed at 6.5W (Smooth) and you lose mode switching.
| Pod | Fits Infinity 2? | Power modes | Price at Terea Outlet |
|---|---|---|---|
| RELX Pod Pro 2 (3%) | Yes | All three | From AED 23 |
| RELX Pod Pro 2 (5%) | Yes | All three | From AED 23 |
| RELX Pod Pro 18mg | Yes | Fixed at 6.5W | AED 40 |
Pods are closed and pre-filled, so there is no refilling and no mess. Swap one in, and the magnets click it into place.
RELX Infinity 2 Colours: Find Your Finish
Every colour is the same device inside, and all seven are in stock for the RELX Infinity 2 in the UAE. Pick the finish you will be happy to carry every day.
- Obsidian Black: deep black, the most understated choice
- Dark Asteroid: dark grey metal

- Blue Bay: bright metallic blue
- Green Navy: dark green with a blue tint

RELX Devices Compared: Infinity 2, Infinity Plus or Artisan?
We stock three RELX devices. All three take RELX Pod Pro and Pod Pro 2, so your pods move with you if you change device.
| Device | Price | Battery | Power modes | Full charge | Choose it if you want |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RELX Infinity 2 | AED 144 | 440mAh | 3 (5.5W / 6.5W / 8W) | About 27 min | Control over power, fast charging and the best price |
| RELX Infinity Plus | AED 255 | 380mAh | 1 (fixed) | About 45 min | The simplest draw-and-go device with a 4-bar battery display |
| RELX Artisan | See product page | See product page | See product page | See product page | Leather and metal finishes, the premium-looking choice |
For most people, the Infinity 2 is the one to buy. It has the most control for the lowest price of the three.
